Design and installation of IT installation for The Dunblane Centre

Forth iT have been selected to design, provide and install the IT infrastructure for the prestigious new Dunblane Centre. The brief was to supply a server, 4 workstations and printer for the offices and reception, and a further 5 PC's for the internet cafe - with only 10 days to go to the opening ceremony!

The contract was awarded following Forth iT's previous assistance on providing a full technical specification for the audio-visual equipment used throughout the centre, including a digital recording studio and rehearsal suite.

Although some late hours were worked, the centre opened to news film crews in fully functioning order. Commenting on the opening day, Forth iT stated "We couldn't have put this together without the support of a large and willing band of helpers who all assisted for free. It was a great start to the opening of this centre, and everyone who took part gave unstintingly of their time and effort. It was a true community event and our hope is that the centre continues as well as it started."
